OOTD- POLKA DOT

DSC_1035 Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket DSC_1002 DSC_1040 Here is the last look from Brussels which I wore for going out with my brother and his friends. We saw some fireworks for the celebration of the national day and went to a bar called delirium which serves many many beers. I actually had a cherry beer which was surprisingly nice, I'm not normally much of a fan of beer. As for the outfit, I ended up changing the flat shoes for my Topshop wedges and adding my monochrome blazer! I am definitely missing the long lazy days that only a holiday can provide and cannot wait to leave for Italy on the 6th!

OOTD- Banana Tropics

DSC_0986 Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Untitled-6 Photobucket DSC_0994 My tropical trousers deserved to see a sunny day so I decided to wear them while strolling through the centre of Brussels yesterday. The day was spent visiting markets full of antiques, looking at furniture and art shops and having a nice greek salad in a lovely restaurant, nothing like some good quality time with my parents. I'm now back in the UK...but not for long, in two weeks I will be jetting off to Italy, there is nothing I want more than to lie on a beach! However I will be spending 12 of the next 14 days working, so I have to get through that before I can let myself dream about sunsets and mojitos..! Also I have to quickly mention how comfortable these heels are, I walked around in them for a good 4 hours and my feet didn't suffer...they have passed my test!! Hope everyone had a great weekend,

OOTN- Back to Black

DSC_0945 Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket DSC_0922 DSC_0927 Photobucket DSC_0924 DSC_0955 What better occasion to wear these fabulous aquascutum trousers than an evening meal in Brussels. I had to have them taken up a great deal as i'm only 5 foot 2 and these kind of wide leg pants usually swamp me, but I think petites can get away with it as long as the waist is mighty high and the length is just right! We visited a restaurant called toscana 21, a tuscan place as the name suggests, run by a tuscan family who travel to Italy every month or so to buy the ingredients for their dishes, so if you're looking for Italian food in Brussels this is the place to find it. The dishes are traditional tuscan home cooking, and remind me of the sort of meals my grandmother cooks for us in the summer in Italy. If you like generous portions, a taste of home cooking and genuine tuscan ingredients, this is the place for you.
I teamed the trousers with this skull print blouse, layered over a black crop top, making me wonder what my unhealthy obsession with skulls is...seriously...I cannot buy anything with skulls on it for at least the next year! I ended up adding a blazer but didn't get a chance to take a picture with it on, (my brother, who is my appointed photographer for the week, had to leave to go on a bar crawl with his friends, in fact they got back 20 minutes ago stinking of beer and cheap kebab...thats 17 year old boys for you!)
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

DSC_0894-1 Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket DSC_0892-1 Yesterday evening me, my mum and my brother went out and had Mexican food in a lovely restaurant called chichi, which is located just opposite the station of de brouckere in the center of Brussels. The food was great but the portions were HUGE, so I left half my avocado, chicken and bacon salad sitting on the plate. If you're ever in Brussels and fancy getting drunk at dinner this is the place to go, there was a group of Americans sitting next to us who were sharing a giant margarita and seemed to quite enjoy it! After that we went to the cinema and saw prometheus which I thought was pretty good, despite the bad reviews it received, be warned though there are some fairly disgusting alien scenes. The weather wasn't bad so I decided to wear these dotty trousers which I picked up in the H&M sale for just £10.00! I also went with a pair of Kurt Geiger heels which are super comfy and seem to be perfect for dressing up any outfit. I ended up adding my H&M monochrome blazer too, which I am soon discovering is my new favourite wardrobe staple. P.S my brother says I look like someone who works for Easyjet in this outfit! Hope everyone is having a great friday!!

OOTD- Monochrome and Skulls

DSC_0790
Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket DSC_0862-1 Photobucket Photobucket DSC_0836-1 Today the weather in Brussels didn't turn out to be too bad, we walked around the centre in the warm sun, its definitely warmer here than in london, thats for sure. The zara sale took a beating from us today, I finally managed to get my hands on a little green jacket that I had been eyeing up for a while, along with a little mint green peplum dress which will be perfect for my trip to Italy in a couple of weeks...best of all...I got it for €15!! I also visited Forever 21 and New Look where I found some amazing nude pumps...but no size 3 :( I'll be sure to check my local New Look when I return to the UK. I also picked up a couple of skincare items by the brand 'cattier paris', I have previously tried a clay mask by the brand which was great, this time I decided to get another face mask and a cleansing milk. I'll be sure to do a post on these new items and put it up soon!!
I wore my faithful black flatforms which are seriously a dream to walk in, along with a blazer I managed to scoop up for £7.00 in the H&M sale last week...nothing puts me in a better mood than a bargain...so I'm feeling pretty good right now. Hope you've had a good day, I'm off to play a very lengthy  game of sims with my brother...it's like an addiction.

OOTD- Seeing spots

DSC_0860 Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket DSC_0839 Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket DSC_0874 Photobucket DSC_0816 Photobucket Photobucket DSC_0889 DSC_0890 DSC_0877 So i'm in Brussels and the weather is pretty crappy as expected! Today has mostly been a lie in day, catching up on rest and enjoying doing nothing. As you can see by the pictures i'm wearing a pretty casual outfit, one of my favourite pairs of jeans (which at the moment I wish were slightly more high waisted) and a comfy dotty shirt. These shoes are my new obsession, some height with no pain, and the best part...I get to show off my neon toes!! Tonight will be a relaxing evening with my family, and hopefully tomorrow I will be shopping the sales in the centre of Brussels!! I hope everyone is having a good tuesday!
